Getting a good night’s sleep has more benefits than what you would normally think. Getting the optimal amount of sleep, which is anything between seven and nine hours, can greatly improve your health and wellbeing. We oftentimes feel bad when we don’t get the right amount of sleep.

Furthermore, sleep deprivation can lead to some serious health problems such as high blood pressure, an increase in stress hormones, and irregular breathing. If you have trouble sleeping then make sure to drink a cup of herbal tea, take a warm bath, meditate, and unplug yourself from electric devices to prepare your mind for it.

According to ExpressHealthShop, the single most important thing that improves your health is exercising every single day. Now, we understand that some people rarely find the time to going to the gym, but you don’t need the gym to exercise. You can do it right from the comfort of your home, or in the form of walks in the park.

If you really find it hard to find the time, then take the stairs to work as opposed to the elevator. Park in the furthest parking spot, as oppose to the best one and do some squats while washing your teeth.

No matter how small or light the exercise, everything counts.

With all the meaningless diets out there, it’s no surprise that people get confused as to what they can and cannot eat. But we should remember the good old days when our parents would force us to eat our vegetables. Start by lowering the intake of processed foods and completely eradicating them through time. Eat more plant-based foods because they are rich in vitamins and minerals. Star eating less food, and starting eating healthier.

No carbon-based life form can survive without water. If you truly want to see the benefits of drinking water, then just think about that plant you forgot to water. Well, your body operates the same as that plant. The more dehydrated you are, the more rotten you become. The benefits of drinking water, and in larger quantities, are numerous. From improved kidney functions to improved bowel functions, to weight management, the benefits are truly many.

To calculate the right amount of water intake per day, we can follow a simple equation that goes as your bodyweight x 2/3 = oz of water consumption per day. If you’re exercising, then you should know that this amount is not enough and you should drink even more.
